The cogs on the threads come in fishbone, Z-shape, Y-shape, and C-shape patterns. The difference between PCL press cog threads and PCL cog threads lies in the fact that the barbs on the former are created through molding without reducing the thickness of the thread, while PCL cog threads are formed by cutting with a blade from a smooth thread, resulting in a smaller thread thickness.
